"The Isolated Tree" is a deeply personal piece to me, inspired by my lifelong fascination with solitary trees, standing alone. This particular artwork was inspired by a tree on the property of the Pierce Cedar Creek Institute, located just off the Orange Trail, which captivated me with its quiet strength and serene beauty. This piece aims to capture the poetic experience of beautiful isolation, highlighting the tree's majestic presence and the sense of peace it embodies to me.
